What is the dress code?
Formal attire is requested.
What time should I arrive?
The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 pm in the garden. Please plan to arrive 20 minutes early to ensure you have time to get to your seat.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside in the garden and our reception will be held inside the castle in the Brian Boru Hall. The weather in Ireland can be unpredictable so please prepare for fluctuating temperatures.
Are children allowed?
Your presence means the world to us, and our greatest wish is to celebrate this special day surrounded by the people we love most. While the weekend festivities will be family-friendly, we kindly ask that the ceremony and dinner reception be reserved for adults only. We completely understand that little ones are an important part of your lives, and babies-in-arms are warmly welcomed at the reception.
We will be offering a babysitting service at the castle for those who need it, so please reach out to us directly to let us know your plans and help get an accurate headcount.
If you plan to bring kiddos with you and are staying at The Castle or The Inn, the reservations teams requires that you share the number of children staying in the room and include their ages.
Can I bring a plus-one?
If your invitation includes a plus-one, their name or "and guest" will be listed. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out.
Are there other activities you recommend we check out while we are on site at Dromoland?
Yes! Please check back closer to the wedding date for additional information regarding scheduled activities. In the meantime, feel free to peruse the Dromoland Castle website.
Will there be a shuttle to the welcome party?

Are you serving food at the welcome party?
We will be providing light bites and an open bar but we suggest arranging your own dinner prior to the welcome party. We recommend dining at the castle or somewhere near the pub in Ennis!
